Water's Edge Poem by Miranda DeNooyer

Water's Edge

I'm standing here at water's edge
Varely looking over the ledge;
Then rain drops fall out of the sky
The water ripples and I catch in my eye;
The stars and the moon shinning so bright
I've already been smiling through half the night;
I get on my bare feet and start to dance
Thinking ov my dreams, whish they would get a chance;
Then I feel these arms wrape around me
I turn around and smile to what I see;
I see my prince, we are where we belong
Then we dance, we dance all night long.
