Waves Poem by jodi glass

Waves

under currents and over currents
sea life floating to a calmer tune
ruled by waters way

clear films of liquid torn apart
by boats speeding to ports and harbours
rocks and mile deep homes hidden

homes that surround the concrete post
put in, so land dwellers can cross waters
waves we only wish to know about, ruled by the mighty moon

cos us air breathers, only rush our life away
