Waving Poem by Tina Rizk

Waving

My love,

I wave to the horizon I forsee
Look! Only you and me I see
Hand in hand walking by the sea
Happy, together, finally

I wave to the dreams I'll fulfill
Some may be of goodwill
I'll cross mountains, valleys and hills
But above all, I want a life tranquil

I wave to my future self
Your maturity stems from the mistakes I did
Your wisdom comes from the lessons I learned
You were born from the womb of my strifes
You're a better version but I paid the bitter price

I wave to your loving heart
In this world of desert, you're my oasis
In this life of exile, you're my divine bliss
You stood by me against the odds
Yes, one day we shall tie the knot
