We All Know Them. They Are The Ones Who Are Just So Particular Poem by Reginald Reid

We All Know Them. They Are The Ones Who Are Just So Particular

The Particularty

A place for all things and each in its place
Rules to obey for the whole human race
Edges all straight, items lined up more and more
Checking's done often, even closing the door.

Sequences matter and facts must be right
No room for the casual near enough sight
No grammatical slackness will ever do
And punctuation's important they will point out to you

Organised colours and matching outfits
Uniform adherence to style so that it fits
Routine work patterns and habitual ways
Control their behavior day after days

Incredible memories for things that they know
Feed their obsessions so they never let go
Obsessive about time, punctuality is prime
Waiting is wasteful, delay is a robbery crime

They're interesting folk if you're having a party
Circulating, debating, The Particularty.
