Remember Amos, the social-justice prophet, concerned for those oppressed, poverty impressed, confronted appetites of the affluent, let the words roll like waters, justice and righteousness, like a mighty torrent. It is hard to find the needy or the greedy, when are distracted.

A world of sharp divisions, challenge of limitations, divinely sanctioned monarchy, people divided, one ruled by David, corrupt and just, looking for hope, promise of David

Let justice roll down like waters
Help the migrant farm worker, self-declared righteous nation, Judah, fellow chosen people,
Yet their nation of the north fell, Amos the prophet, called to preach and prophesy,

Speaks of the parousia, the coming, advent of Christ, second coming, return of Christ, come again in glory, judge the living and the dead, descend from heaven, cry of command, sound the trumpet, speak about the last things

Carefully ordered, telling, Jesus sermon on a mount, speaks, how to live, there will be wars and persecutions, sacrilege and false messiahs, heavens and earth shaken, how to live

We are on hold, waiting to speak, slowing, sluggish, connection, timely appointments, answers to prayer, advancement, are we there yet? , accelerated timetable, slowness revolution, speed desire, patience needs a movement to be valued,
