We Arrive With Cookies At The Door Poem by Dinie Sophie Fintelman

We Arrive With Cookies At The Door

After silence appeared to us
the village seemed a different version of itself
we recovered what we thought had been lost

we sought shelter in the core
because in our world
there is always something to be found

what the sense of sharing is
and from front doors

when they are open
