Poor leaders we must proscribe
Prohibit rule by second-rate leaders
Africa is fed up with their buffoonery
We suffer shame by their showings
Enough is the reproach we have earned
As subdued supporters of such shoddy souls
Away with poor leadership
Our accepting them amply questions
Our analytic abilities and assertiveness
Or certifies us to be classed
Accomplices to the treasonable felony
Of abetting abysmal admins
What a neglect of critical civil calling
What a dire display of disloyalty
To our countries and continent
Away with poor leadership
Mediocre Heads we should no more entertain
Heads who cannot their own homes honour
Leaders lacking vision to pursue and perfect
Presidents who are puppets to plutocrats
Mean moguls with materialistic motives
Staging schemes shallow to state subjects
Such candidates we must curtail
Their bid to lead snubbed, stubbornly
This is our singular responsibility
Citizens, with critical capabilities
This civic calling we must strive to sustain
It is, frankly, the only faithful formulae
To bid the belated farewell
To poor and lawless leadership
In Africa our dear continent
Away with poor leadership
They belong to Centuries long gone
Their tributes present a sorry sight
Gross financial mismanagement
Naked disrespect to rule of law
Holding on tenaciously to power
Creating a monarch out of a president
They, who paint monarchy black
Practice, manifestly, masked monarchy
By the formulae of faked democracy
You, shockingly, shameless shams
Your slip-ups, their sad sequels
Alertly appraise your act
What a countless catalogue of cracks
Implementing white elephants as projects
Making a mockery of budgeting and budgets
Overriding controls and decisions of the courts
What a pile of designed dire deeds
Feats fostering their egoistic designs
Enough is enough
The time is ripe for the knell
The stage is set for your burial rite
You, your sponsors and followers
You and all that you connote
You who we solidly scorn
What a comfort to see you entombed
Heartily happy to harbour the fact that
Never your ugly faces, again, to confront
