We Forgot To Pray Comments

Dear Diane, thank you so much for taking the trouble to read and also feedback on my poem. The simple story behind it is my wife and I set up and then attended a local early morning busy prayer group in a local church. Initially it had several people turning up each wednesday at 06.40. Gradually these dwindled and a year ago even the vicar stopped going. We carried on but finally there was only two of us left. After three years, for the first time, last Wednesday morning, we forgot to go and my contrition created the thoughts that led to this poem. We have so much in our lives to be grateful for, even to a non believer time being thankful is well spent.
