We Just Broke Up - Poem by Missy Lynn

My body is numb
All is calm, yet cold
There is a light,
Hoping.
In my heart, distant
Flickering.
My body has stopped
And cried and
Started up again
Even though I
Made it this way
I still fell as though
The tiny light in my heart
That burns for you
is gone
We shall see
When and if
You should
Call me

*Written 5/5/06- now 11/15/06 Still hasn't called me

Something is missing in the poem...
And that actually makes it a good read, ...

    regards,
