But chose to write whatever they wanted
In our class, we know who is who.

Damn its recipient

But chose to give it to those they were pleased with

Damn its occupant
Damn those who knew us
But chose to do unmerited placement
In our class, we know who is who.
We may not be deemed fit
Merits may not have counted
But our works are there
And they speak in loud voices
Damn those who disregarded them
