We May, And Yet... Poem by Katherine Robbins

We May, And Yet...

Rating: 5.0

Hearts may cry, yet no tears are shed.
Minds may wonder, yet no words are said.
Burdens may increase, yet the will stays strong.
Music may cease, yet the song carries on.
Faith may be tested, yet it still survives.
Choices may be second guessed, yet we still strive.
Conflict may arise, yet we still fight hard.
Battles may be lost, yet we are proud of our scars.
War may continue, yet we stand up and fight.
Strength may grow weak, yet we give all our might.
Peace may eventually come, yet there is lessons to still learn.
Avoid may we try, yet our pages still turn.
Life may carry on, yet we might wish for it to end.
We may feel fragile, yet only the strong bend.
