We need someone to look after us,
Someone in our goverment we can trust.
Someone who can stand up to the test,
And pull us out of this mess.

Goverments helping big buisness stay on track,
While people like you and I fall through the cracks.
Bill collectors call our phones,
While we lose our cars and homes.

We need someone to look after us,
Someone in our goverment we can trust.
Someone who can stand up to the test,
And pull us out of this mess.

People are losing thier jobs left and right,
And any kind of relief is clear out of sight.
Big goverment is taking over our land,
And all with no good out look or plan.
They own the car companies and banks,
And all after being the reason they sank.
While the big boys on wall street walk out rich,
You and I may end up living in a ditch.

We need someone to look after us,
Someone in our goverment we can trust.
Someone who can stand up to the test,
And pull us out of this mess.

When it is said and done, they will turn to you and me,
And take our's and our childrens money in taxes you see.
I think it is time for goverment to shrink,
And people to take sometime on who they elect and think!
