Weaker Than Before Poem by Miranda DeNooyer

Weaker Than Before

Open your eyes and sit up in your bed
Listen but no goodmorning has been said;
Roll off and to the ground then stand up straight
You look in the mirror, 'is there any fate? ';
Dress yourself on how you feel for the day
Bright if happy, if you're sad maybe gray;
Skip the first meal 'cuz you don't want to eat
Feel like you want to be light on your feet;
School is school, it won't get any better
With teachers and grades, to you don't matter;
After school activites can b rough
'Specially when you feel not good enough;
Wonder if this day could get much longer
Through out it you thought you would get stronger;
You are now home, as tired as can be
Tomorrow comes soon so lay donw to sleep.

I think this one perfectly describes kids lives all over and how it is for us basically in the morning and school
