Written four years ago
and still applies today.

Fear not, my friend,
it is never the end,
this has happened before,
share prices down
share prices soar.
We will recover
from this temporary blip.
We will survive the sinking ship
as in the days of yore.

A dropp in the index
is a minimal thing.
'Loss on the roundabout
is gained on the swing'.
But if you are feeling
slightly bold,
maybe it's time
to invest in gold
before all the coinage is sold.
