Weep No More Poem by Anna Andrews

Weep No More

The weeping angel weeps no more
As light glisters upon the floor
She lifts her head & sees the light
And feels the warmth holding her tight.
Shadows fade as the air starts to ease
Her eyes rise in the gentle breeze.
Her lips curl upon her restless face
As a gentle figure come forth with grace
He softly speaks as he wipes away a tear
Do not weep my angel for I am here.

Sounds of silence slowly drifts away
As leaves lift from where they lay
He held her tight within his arms
As tension eases from her palms
She brings her hands upon his face
As her heart beats and beging to race
Lips met as the time stood still
In the place they met upon the hill
He softly whispered in her ear
Do not weep my angel for I am here.
