Weep Not Poem by Bobby Mitchum

Weep Not

Weep not, oh gentle heart
when you remember me,
weep not when you pass
those places I used to be,
weep not, when you hear
that one special song
that always brought us closer
no matter where we roamed,
weep not, when you remember
our friends and smiling faces
when we were together love
in those special times and places
for our time on earth together
are there to cherish and hold
within our hearts forever
as a miser cherishes gold
weep not, for we shall meet again
on some far and distant shore,
and shall remain together love,
as we were forever more.

This is so beautiful, it reads along wonderfully, the emoitions that you capture in your words are great, very nicely penned. Annette.
