Welcome To My Confusion Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Welcome To My Confusion

Clearing the night's cache and cookies of thoughts

Status of self
Nothing more
Nothing less
More mess
Cleanly distressed
Stressed
Riding out contradictions
Self-inflictions
Not seen
Unheard
Within
Light to dark
Dark to light
Blind outside
Sightseeing insight
Fighting the subliminal fight
Confusion
To the illusion
Of certain life
Antidote for hope
Something
Never feels quite right
Wrong answers
Corrected by plight
Taking flight
Descending nose down
Falling many feet deep
Into a voided ground
Upside down
Inside out
With and without a doubt
Shimmering with fate's clout
And words swallowed
By pandemonium's intrusive
Restless mind
Pondering through
After thought after thought
Desperate nights
Slowing down
Only to speed back up
When the going
Gives a go towards tough
Out of luck
Searching for peace
Aboard a meteor
Searching to crash
Upon a clairvoyance sought
Coursing endless travels
Parsecs pondering distance
Faster than the speed of life
Traveling
A billion miles per second
Mental minding
Abiding to the sound of silence
And the loudness surrounding
No reaction
Trying to adapt
Beyond any numbers
Any limitation could ever seize
Do you believe in a clear mind?
When thoughts are controlled by madness
Abrasive gladness
Turning a glorified moment
Rectified by past journeys
Ahead of things yet to come
So what will come next?
In the great grand scheme
Of this multi-dimensional test
Studying hard
In the name of personal glory
Unbridled history
So many mysteries
Tangled in mystic woven
Long drawn out excursions
All aboard
Welcome to my confusion
