Welfare Poem by Saman Shahraki

Welfare

Rating: 4.0

My eyes are too heavy
I knew with my point finger
That my thumb is similar to ham
And the planet is warmer than yesterday

I can see my foot that is running
And my soul that is rounding
And my nails are looking like salt chips

With this kind of welfare
I just want to lie down...
