Well Spring Poem by Alla Bozarth

Well Spring

When we pray
for one another,
we are leaning
over the cusp
of Time to inhale
the freshness
of Grace, wafting
up to us from
our deep inner
wishing well,
where we wish
one another
well by what
true knowing
of wellness
God alone
can know.

And so we partake
in the refreshment
of communion
with one another,
below and beyond all
that may be unwell—
and we are,
for that intake
of Grace, as well
as well can be.
