What A Fellowship - Poem by Michael P. Johnson

You’re everything and even more
You’re as a friend supreme
You’re Lord you’re King You’re Heaven’s Door
And Life’s Eternal Stream

How could I think to feel this way?
How could I dream so wild?
How marvellous is every day
Since being reconciled

I’m yours I’m yours I’m truly yours
And all You are is mine
Forever and a day because
Of Jesus' love divine

For me You suffered all that pain
You chose for me to die
That through your blood when born again
I’d rise to life on high

I long my God to see Your face
Perfect at Jesus’ side
I bless the day through love and grace
Such hope was magnified

That day You freed my soul of sin
You gave Your Living Bread
Through Quickening that came within
I’ve quit the walking dead

Alive; alive I’m so alive
As never was before
Through faith and trust I can but thrive
As all Your saints before

Lord, help me pass the test of time
Equip me for the fight
Steer me from the path of crime
And lead me through the night
