What A Future

The lion’s rampant day and night
This world’s beyond control
So many have lost the will to fight
To save our precious soul

Like rats within a bowl we are
Like fish upon the shore
Without The Lord we won’t get far
We need to find The Door

We need to seek The One who cares
Seek Jesus Christ above
Who’ll help us climb up Heaven’s stairs
Into the arms of love

Into the realm of Living Light
The Kingdom of our dreams
Through Christ we’ll reach the highest height
The source of Living streams

We’ll drink our daily fill of peace
We’ll eat of Heaven’s bread
Savouring life that cannot cease
Just like our God has said

The Promise of our Lord and friend
The Word of Christ our King
Our happiness will never end
When praise to God we sing

Astonishing joy we’ll find up there
Amazing bliss unknown
The riches of our God we’ll share
With Jesus on the throne

Who’ll seek to live in one accord
Treat neighbours as a friend
All this and more as God’s reward
Will find with Christ no end
