What A Life! Poem by Ajinkya Lotlikar

I was beginning to paint my dreams with myriad colours in the sky,
And then abruptly it all came crashing down
The fairy tale has come to an end,
I wonder why life had to be so unfair to me,
I have never meant evil, ….done evil,
We travelled this far,
It was somehow never meant to be,
I cared for you,
I cried for you,
To no avail it now seems to me,
Life is morbid,
Dreams have become hollow,
I am now ensconced in my thoughts wondering what a waste it has been,
Feels like I am a patch of mistake that tarnished my soul,
Now am eclipsed with fear never wanting for more.
