What A Night - Poem by kwane Lamb

I awoke with this smile
After riding you for miles
Boy! how you have made me day.

To God i wish to say everything is...
A okay.
To awake after being with such a queen,

What a dream.
The world is good...
Life is better with you.

I am reminded concerning love
And loves return.
Woman it is you I yearn.

Wrapped up in your arms all night
Forgetting my tears and plight
Dawn! what a sight.

The blessing is with you...
My boo.
Your scent captivates me evening now,

Please do not ask how,
You are a wonder in my life,
You have eased my strife,

A woman of women you are
No one holds a candle by far.
My mind is saturated with...

Your womanhood..,
Dawn! you are good.
So I am making breakfast,

Your favorite I hope.
Sauteing lightly your eggs
The toast is buttered and waits,

To the bedroom I bring your plate.
