What Goes - Comes Poem by Mpho Tsakata

What Goes - Comes

I'm a man striving for appearance,
my appearance introducing my presence,
my presence inviting your interests,
your interests draw my excellence,
my excellence draw a better picture,
a picture painting my imperfections,
my imperfections painting a horrid picture,
that picture missing a lot of excellence,
loss of excellence declining your interests,
without any interests you wouldn't want my presence,
lack of presence destroys my appearance.

Damn that's a sticky-wicked,
what goes - comes, keep that in mind
