Mom Poem by Mpho Tsakata

Mom

No imagination surpasses this reality,
You being my everything, my whole world,
Giving me so much love longer than infinity,
I am who I am because of the character you built,

My naked eye was closed by then,
Instead I complained about what we didn't have,
Lost focus on what we already achieved then,
You suffered but I didn't suffer,

You ended the nights in tears but ended mine with smiles,
You lived every moment to see me reach my dreams and further,
You are an Angel and I've seen the signs,

: Just thought that I should tell you that i love you while we can still smile at or see each other, for nature is more cruel than anything else, Thanks Mom for being my mom

Yes! My mother plays an important roll in my life, just as every mother to their children.
