What Greater Love? Poem by Martins Akhoeneto

What Greater Love?

I can recall the rumbling rust,
the turmoil of chill cold carnages
and the sacred sacrifice of love
you gave in exchange for your life.
love unseen; a chevalier unmatched,
a warrior in the face of death.
