What have you done to her?
She is grace and warmth combined
You said you could treat her better
But ended up overlooking her mind

I let you love her on your terms
She chose you for both our sakes
And yet you've never reaffirmed
I thought, ‘Was this man she chose worth my heartache? '

What have you done to her?
You ruined a perfectly fine girl
Made her feel worse and lesser
Because of this, I'll give her the world
