What Hurts The Most Poem by shelbie bozeman

What Hurts The Most

If there is one thing
I could take away
it is the pain that I feel
when you walked away

Everyday I get up
and still I cry
because you were loving
when you were by my side

Day in and day out
I am always sad
but if you wouldn't have walked away
then I would be glad

And yet you told me
there is someone else
and you said I want my ring back
to give to the 'else'

And I am now sad
as sad as i can be
and of course i learned
love can sting like a bee

It hurts my heart
more and more each day
but I will always remember
when you walked away

This is the story
of what hurts the most
because I know for a fact
that it hurts to have your heart broke

wow... i actually really like this poem. i know love hurts, but as time goes we all forget and let go... its hard to watch a love one leave your side and be with another person... anyway, well writen and great job.
