What I Lost? Poem by Anjana K K

Nowadays I felt something had lost
So I began to quest to find what I lost
I asked my long relatives what I lost
they replied 'you lost beauty'
I asked my neighbours what I lost
they answered 'you lost your charmness'
I asked my friends what I lost
they responded 'you lost your smile'
I asked my sibling what I lost
they retorted 'you lost your happiness'
I ask my parents what I lost
they commented 'you lost nothing'
finally I reach the last stage of enquiry but didn't get proper answer
I went in front of mirror and
ask gently to my inner side
it murmur 'Hey idiot you lost yourself'
