What I Love (But Do Not Own) Poem by cinemod osrevart

What I Love (But Do Not Own)

If that's sadness I see in your eyes,
I won't rest until I can define,
What it is and how to make it mine,
So I can release you and that smile.

And if that is trouble on your mind,
Perhaps you can help me and describe,
How to take the load and make it mine,
And then let me try to make you smile.

And if you'd rather go on your own,
Look behind you'll see you're not alone,
In your steps following I will roam,
Guarding what I love but do not own.
