What I Read Poem by Tracy Rollings

I looked at the words in some poems today
was trying to figure out what they had to say.

but the more I read the harder they got
some were so cold and others were hot.

the words they printed all looked so neat
but there were some that couldn't be beat.

some were very long and other way too short
few made no sense but others got to the point.

not telling them what they need to do
like me they need some help from you.

so I'll keep on reading all I can see
because I'm taking a liking to this poetry.
