What I Saw Poem by Tyro Twee

What I Saw

He asked me to write of his eyes
I pondered them in great detail
I note to them there’s no demise
But still, I see much more entailed

I am lost in your deep iris
Perplexed, this isn’t describable
Not to break what is desirous
Caught unto something indescribable

Looking into what I won’t abstain
The deep, brown coloring seems alluring
But to think I won’t see those eyes again
Hurts, but his glance has become more than reassuring

I witness a miracle when I look into his eyes
I fall for you again when I look into your eyes
