What I Saw At The Crusade Poem by Charles Karia

What I Saw At The Crusade

At the crusade grounds behind the shops,
I saw a sight that made me wonder;
A boy and a girl were deep in talk.
With seductive eyes the girl talked,
She pulled her hair many times,
And gave a thousand clever smiles,

The boy now had his hands in pockets,
He spoke Today's English Version,
But not of the Holy Scriptures.
He scratched his head many times,
His eyes looking thirsty and faint,
As they gazed eyeball to eyeball.

At the crusade the evangelist taught,
But then he got a desire to sing,
The keyboard driver was no where,
And so was the lady worship leader,
Who will tell the good evangelist,
They're clasping arms behind the shops
