What I Want Poem by Harper Jones

What I Want

So what I want to do is reach deep within my soul.
I want to go beyond my thoughts,
I want to go galaxies past my fears.
I want to access that poignant section of brain;
the one that releases me from all refrain.

I want to receive more than my portals perceive,
I want to touch less my fingertips,
and move without excursion.
I want my mind to open to life's humble meaning.
I want the unknown to become my being.

To achieve this I will let go
I will not hold on to any days gone by,
For I have inkling this life is in rewind.
The question of HOW no longer releases strain,
The acceptance of belief is tattooed on my brain.
