What I Wish Poem by Sudipta Bhattacharyya

What I Wish

Give me your attention to me;
Devote your time to my heart;
For I have the only treasure,
You know that's my heart.
I wish to dwell in your heart.
Anguish and melancholy have been
Devouring me days after days.
I can't control my restless mood.
I am writhing in agony on my deserted
Bed in a pall of indelible darkness.

Lift me up, O my Lady, hold me tightly!
Pour your sweet kisses like elixir upon
My nicotine -laden lips for I want your
Healing touch to remove my agony.
