What If? Poem by Noreen Bilal

What If?

what if i dream of you
And you are mine.

What if i fight with you
You hug me tight.

What if i cry for you
You wipe my tears.

What if i get scared
You fire my fears.

What if i smile alone
You smile with me.

What if i lay in a blanket
You ask for a tea.

What if i turn to ashes
And the winds blow them to you.

What if my last words wisper
I am within you.
