What If You Could See Me From The Inside? Poem by Angelica Traylor

What If You Could See Me From The Inside?

What if you could see me from the inside?

Would you attack my complex?

Try to interpret my denial?

Would you believe in me?

Hate Me?

Teach Me?

Help Me?

Reach Me?

Save Me?

Judge Me?

Heal Me?

Leave Me?

Balance Me?

Show Me…

...Love? …
The misleading conception of it,
The giving and receiving of it,
The infinite possibilities of it,
The wanting and addiction of it,
The joy and pain of it,
The recycled reused feeling of it,
The misused misunderstanding of it,
Would you show Me? ...

What if you could see me from the inside?

Would you cry for Me?

Smile at Me?

Would you understand Me?

Ignore Me?

Would you categorized Me?

Laugh at Me?

Would you wonder with various curiosity for Me?

Would you agree with…

... My filtered belief that LiFe…

Twists, Bends, and Breaks until each fragment pull and tie each other back together… Each thought, each tear, each, laugh, each experience… Engulf the SouL, Thus CREATING SELF…

So what if WE could see each other from the Inside? Would it CHANGE US?
