What is this life for,
if you rear someone since childhood
who seems very dear to you
but she goes away in youth
and unwilling to walk miles with you!

what is this life for,
if you wish for guidance from someone
who seems very dear to you
but she goes away so soon
and unwilling to carry the beacon light for you!

what is this life for,
if you long for someone in youth
who seems very dear to you
but she goes away with another
and unwilling to share pleasures with you!

what is this life for,
if you shout for help to someone
who seems very dear to you
but she goes away in your old
and unwilling to carry the bale of pains for you!

what is this life for,
if you wait ages for someone
who seems very dear to you
but she goes away unemotionally
and unwilling to reminisce the moments with you! !
