What is to be achieved Poem by Jürgen Becker

What is to be achieved

The next hour. As though we were waiting. But
there are always things to be done, we won't even mention
all the baggage.

It's light enough outside. No prompting's
needed no subject for the leader; I'll tell you
everything soon enough.

It's really quite simple. With your back to the wall,
to the window, to the screen, to the door. Bring nothing with you,
the table will now stay clear.
