What Lies Beneath Poem by Frank Acquafredda

What Lies Beneath

My world spinning crazy
With thoughts so erratic,
So hard to think clear
Beyond all this static,
Mentally messed up
And self medicated,
My world in an uproar
I only wish you related,
To the words that I speak
Which are complicated,
Living through this life,
Knowing me that I hated.
My heart laying dormant,
Beneath my chest sits a stone
Awaiting eruption,
So the world can be shown.
With my lava spilling,
As my words fiercely flow,
I light up the night sky
Like no one you would know,
With flames that I'm spitting
That are seen north and south,
Listen to the words that,
I scream from my mouth.
A bomb buried inside,
Already now ticking
And soon is the end of,
My life I'm predicting,
Like the love I would share,
But could never commit
When I cared for your thoughts,
Before this life turned to s***.
So give me some feedback,
Should I go see a shrink?
Is it wrong that I'm writing,
All my thoughts when I think?
It just helps with the pain
That I feel deep inside,
These are my true thoughts
That for you I provide.
