What Love Is Poem by Jas Andrada

What Love Is

Rating: 2.0

The moon was a witness
to our everlasting love.
The stars blinked at us
while we exchanged
our unbreakable vows.
How can I forget that day
when hope sprung
from the bottom of my heart?
You planted it there
on that seventeenth afternoon
of the frosty ninth month.
I couldn’t believe it at first
that the man I secretly loved
for almost a year

finally offered his heart to me.
It was a very special occasion for me
that I forgot all about my hatred
to the people around me.
That was the time
that I started waking up everyday
just to feel your undying devotion.
And up to this day,
you still didn’t fail me
and I still love you
as much as you love me.
