What's Left To Create Poem by John Dillenger II

What's Left To Create

Rose petals fall from the sky
Colored red, like a rain of blood.
About the cool marble floor, many lives do lie.
One piece of the palace left after the flood.
The beauties of life carved deep within.
A past world unfolds before you.
A haven kept by kingdom and kin.
The hearts of the fallen implore you.
Recreate the beauties of worlds gone by,
But leave out the pains of past.
Let your heart sing, let your mind fly,
For burdens of pain can't last.
