So I'm here listening to every word you say
even if it takes all day
I will pay
to know what your thinking
I'm listening not faking
because for you thats taking
all the respect you have for me
and thats all I care about if you can see
all I want to know, take all my time
whats on your mind?

Tell me the things that happened today
think about it, hit replay
tell me from the beginning
starting from this morning
when you were winning
fighting your bed head
tell me the details, what you said
when you started to tread
down the stairs while you dread
because you read
that school was still in session
on this snowy day, what a depression
so I just have one question
whats on your mind?

Don't worry relax I'm still here, my choice
because it calms me to hear your beautiful voice
so what happened at school I wanna know
don't ask me if I want to go
because I will say no
I want to hear your story
so I listen with no worry
as you tell me and I try to picture
of you in your story with the mixture
of figures you talk about
but, I don't pay attention to them even if I knew
them because right now I care about you
because right now nothing is important too
because right now I'm listening to you
so tell me with kind

talking about your friends
and right as your about done
while your having fun
I stop you to say

by telling me what happened to you today
