what the future held
was us
but that disappeared
when you lost my trust
i thought it would always be
you and i
but i guess
that was all a lie
i never thought
it would end this way
i wounder what would have happened
if i stayed
well if i had stayed
i would have killed you
so this is goodbye
to that future
