What The Stars Gave Us - Poem by elysabeth faslund

Too high tonight...
My telescope never
Brought them within

Why should I wish to
Reach out...
And, with one
Tiny finger,

Give them a gift of
The Earth...?
How silly of me on
This Night....

This Earth was their
To us.

A beautiful image - the grain of sand, the leaf of grass. You say it so well. love, Allie xxxx (Report) Reply
