What Will Never Be - Poem by kendyll brown

count the ways
the endless hours and the days
my heart will ache and pain for you
theres nothing else i can do

nothing more that i want from this
love, comfort, peace and bliss
vast is your heart, vast is your love
from you i will never part

i know that we willl never be
but i dream of you constantly
the times my eyes have cried their tears
the time i gave into my fears

the lonliness i feel inside
i hope this feeling will subside
when i see you, my heart skips a beat
for this isd one more day, we will not meet

i crave the day i feel your touch
i want you so much
i close my eyes and see your face
my time with you will not erase

your tender lips
your graceful walk
your loving smile
and the way you talk

so count the ways
the endless hours and the days
i have spent on loving you
if only you knew
