What Words - Poem by Robert Mestre
What words are there to convey,
These things my heart longs to say,
That you have not heard a million times
In countless stories, and endless rhymes.
Maybe to compare thee to a thing,
A bright red rose, a lovers dream,
No.. that would be to just repeat
And not describe this love so sweet.
There must be some way, so you can see
The very extent of what you mean to me,
Maybe words can never suffice,
To describe my little paradise.
Yes paradise, that's what you are,
The only word that compares by far,
Yes that is what you are to me,
And shall remain so eternally.
