What You Say Poem by Nicholas Hrynchuk

What You Say

I can usually tell when you're sad,
I try and help when you're mad,
But everything you say,
Stays in my head and never wants to leave

I try to impress you,
In the stupidest ways,
And you laugh like a friend,
And have nothing to say

You make me happy just seeing you,
But what you say,
Means more to me than it may,
And can brighten my day
