RIC S. BASTASA

Whatever Happened To The Marriages Of Figaro - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

she says it is sad
the first marriage flunked

the second has become
two stones in the desert
listening to the howling of the wind

the third is worst
it is the ocean of emptiness
burying ships
and passengers are swallowed
alive.
