What's In A Line Poem by J. Robert Trebor

What's In A Line

a line in the sand you do not cross
an enemy with strife for a heart,
or,
one who comes with nothing expecting everything
on your side…only you
my side flies the America Flag
my patience has limits
a line in the sand
does not bend
tread not on me,
my response impawned to defend
not just a line,
it is my freedom you seek to impede
cross at your own peril
but,
remember,
on your side,
there is only you.
